In order to grow your business, it is critical to set an annual revenue goal. If you don’t set a target, you will never hit it.
Your annual revenue goal is simply the amount of money you want your business to generate over the next year.
In order to hit this annual revenue goal, there are some important numbers you need to know.
- How much money did you make last year?
- How many sales did it take to hit this number?
- What is the average dollar amount per sale?
- How many leads are you getting?
Take your new revenue goal and divide it by the average income and you will come up with the number of sales you need to make in order to hit your new goal.
The next thing you have to figure out is how many leads it takes to get a sale.
This does require tracking how many inbound leads you are getting. You can accomplish this by using call tracking, form tracking, email tracking, and Google Analytics. I will show you how to do this.
Once you know how many leads it takes to get a sale, you multiple that number by the number of sales you need to reach your annual revenue goal.
You will then know how many leads it will take to reach your annual revenue goal.
