Hope Media Group (HMG) is a nonprofit organization that is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and comparable state laws. However, HMG is not classified as a private foundation within the meaning of Section 509(a) of the IRC.

HMG is subject to federal income tax on any unrelated business taxable income.

As a charitable organization, HMG it is not owned by any individual, church, and no stock is issued or held.
