What is a donor-advised fund (DAF)?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a way of giving that provides an immediate tax benefit to you, while providing you with the opportunity to direct funds to the charity of your choice. With a DAF account you can contribute cash, securities or appreciated assets. It’s like a “generosity savings account” that also makes you eligible for an immediate, current-year tax deduction.

How do I give through a donor-advised fund?

Here are two simple ways you can make a gift through your donor-advised fund:

1. Make an outright gift by recommending a grant to Hope Media Group.
