KSBJ’s Biggest Baby Shower EXPO, Serving Over 2,000 Attendees

Houston, TX — May 19, 2025 — Hope Media Group’s station 89.3 KSBJ, in partnership with its sister station 91.7 Vida Unida, brought hope, joy, and practical resources to thousands of families at KSBJ’s Biggest Baby Shower EXPO, held at Woodlands Church – East River Campus. The event welcomed more than 2,000 attendees, providing essential baby items and connecting families with local support organizations—all in the name of celebrating life and community.
Thanks to generous partners and sponsors, the event distributed over 17,000 diapers and nearly 61,000 baby wipes, meeting tangible needs for new and expecting parents. Guests enjoyed a festival-like atmosphere featuring free services, resources, giveaways, and even moments of transformation and joy.
Event Highlights:
- 25 moms received professional maternity mini sessions, including hair, makeup, and photography.
- One special couple, who had been trying to conceive for over five years, were among the maternity session winners – an emotional and unforgettable moment for them and all who heard their story.
- Three moms were blessed with brand-new strollers and car seats, gifts that will support their babies’ journey from day one.
Partnering organizations included Woodlands Church – East River Campus, which served as the venue and coffee sponsor, and Little Oaks Early Learning as the event sponsor. Community resource partners such as PACN Pregnancy Assistance Center North, Care Net Houston/Northwest Pregnancy Center, Texas Children’s Hospital, and the Harris County Public Health Department provided vital information and support. KUTS for Christ and Rose & Dove Photo + Video helped bless mothers with professional makeovers and maternity photo sessions. Clothed by Faith generously distributed bags of baby clothes, while the Houston Coalition for Life / Blue Blossoms Mobile Unit offered free ultrasounds and pregnancy tests. The event also received support from Good Neighbor Days/Love Has No Limits, further demonstrating the power of community collaboration.
