RELEASE: Brian Driver Promoted to Vice President of National Operations

HOUSTON, Texas (October 4, 2022)— Hope Media Group has announced the promotion of Brian Driver to Vice President of National Operations. Driver has served at WayFM since 2012, first as Operations Manager for WAYA/Charleston, SC, then as General Manager of the station.  

"Brian has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond to serve the listeners of his community.  In the broader industry, he’s proven himself to be a solutions-oriented pro that has a heart for the mission,” says Jim Marshall, Chief of Media Operations. “I’m thrilled to have his influence nationwide." 

Driver has held various positions in his 34 years of broadcasting including Program Director at Citadel Broadcasting, Cox Radio, and Apex Broadcasting. In his new role, Driver will remain over the WAYA operation in Charleston while also managing national responsibilities across Kentucky, Indiana, Alabama, and Southwest Florida.

Driver shared, “I am so excited to further my role with Hope Media Group! We have an incredible group of people that I am looking forward to working with in a more ongoing basis while we continue to change the lives of our listeners and share the word and love of Jesus with them.”
